A driver for the "network everywhere" router ,causes major problems with windows xp.The nicserv.exe file{NICSer_NWP11B}.Causes xp to slow to a crawl , folders wont open ,device manager problems.If you have this running in your services and have any of these problems ,uncheck box next to service and/or disable it.I already contacted network everywhere and they were not aware of this problem.Hope this helps everyone, I spent 2 months troubleshooting this issue .
