Default New OS designed for gamers?

anyone know the name of the new OS which is in development, being targeted for gamers, and people who host servers?

Haven't heard anything about that. I have heard that games are going to become more Linux friendly, however.

Oh, thats Microsoft's next version of Windows. Its supposed to debut in early 2006 or late 2005 as the successor to Windows XP.

Oh i see, thanks.. I thought Longhorn was a company making an os..

I checked the site, but do you know if it will run with less cpu usage/ram usage then windows xp and such currently does?

both i believe or they wont be selling that many copies of it. i for one will be getting a 64bit version hopefully 8)
