Recently i bought a new motherboard and am using my compaq case and some other little things from compaq (PSU, HD, etc.). I had a beeping problem before, changed the ram. Beeping Stopped but windows wouldn't boot. So i said screw it im done with this junk and bought a new motherboard with duo core. But now i want to format my comp...
Can i use my compaq recovery disks to just get the operating system on the computer? I want just the OS and nothing else. or do i have to install the whole thing. and then after uninstall all the unecessary stuff?
I used to have an AMD processer and ddr ram is that going to be a problem if it thinks it stil has that?
