Question Network Monitor but...

Does anyone know of a software that you can monitor your network but feeds it via http? Like I can login to a site and see Uptime or a green/red logo... something along those lines. Doubt if theres such a thing, just curious. Thanks in advance.

I dont think something like that exists. That would make things a little open, making the network a wee bit insecure. Just a thought, but I wouldnt use such a thing on my network if I owned one. There is monitor software to install on the server or a remote machine, but I havent seen anythign web based.

you could setup vnc on the pc that has the monitoring app. vnc has a http daemon that allows you to remotely administrate using a java enabled browser. Install vnc and browse to http://serverip:5800

You can change it in the settings.

I dig. I was just asking because he gave a link with the port number already there.
