Netmeter/unable to install/help please

I had Netmeter <http://readerror.gmxhome.de/> on my computer for ages on which I run WindowsXP/SP2. Netmeter seems to have disappeared, I put in a search for it, it says it is in Documents/Settings, but it is not. I have downloaded it again, but my computer will not let me install it. I am the only one using this computer, I am the Administrator. This is the first time I have encountered not being able to install a program. Could someone get back to me with answers please. I have searched <autoruns> and it is not in the system, and also it is not showing in start/all programs....thank you

Have you checked in your add/remove programs for it? If it is still in there uninstall it. Then try to re-install it.

Thanks for your reply. Yes I have checked in Add and Remove, sure enough it was there but with an error so I uninstalled it and downloaded again. It lets me install either of the two offered on the website, but then tells me "Access denied". It will not open, although showing in start/all programs. I have now uninstalled and given up. Secured another called 'internet meter' @

No exactly the same, but will do until I can find why netmeter is angry with me!
