I'm at school today and the dang yearbook computer froze about 17 times. I didn't get anything done and I have a headache. Is there any kind of free software available online that will stabilize Windows 98/SE? If there is I'd like to have it. This compy is ticking me off.

There's loads of free software available to stabilize a Win9x computer... just check out www.distrowatch.com 
I would LOVE to have Linux at my fingertips, but I don't think the admin. would appreciate my downloading a new OS for the staff to learn.

And I think the problem is the whole computer. It's a brand X case with brand X parts and it has been having issues ever since we bought it. So i guess I'll just have to put up with it for now. Thanks anyways guys!

when i had 98 i had tried a program called Dr. Salman's winbooster, it's not freeware but for the time i had it 98 would not crash!
