Default need some help

wondering if there is any way that i can delete a program from my computer when i can not log into my computer..ive tried reformating it but it wont boot from the CD and i need to delete novell off my there anyway i can start up my computer in a different mode or something and delete this program?? thanks

nevermind i got into safe mode and deleted novell..its straight now

note: linux live cd like knoppix/slax work wounderful when your screwed or the machine windows wont boot
