Hi, I have recently replace a HD of mine from one comp to another (different MOBO), the problem is while my XP on the HD can detect all the drivers by itself, my Win 98 can not. Is there any way I can find the drivers for my MOBO, VGA, etc? Also, how do I find out my MOBO brand, model # in OS? Or do I have to look into the case to find out??

THanks

Hi,

You can also download PC Wizard Experience software from the following web site:

www.cpuid.com

After finding the make of the chipset (South Bridge and North Bridge), download the drivers from the appropriate web site.

Goodthing to note: If you have an AMD processor, your PC does not contain an Intel chipset :))

Web sites from where you can download the drivers:

www.intel.com
www.viaarena.com
www.sis.com

If your PC is branded, you need to download the drivers from the OEM manufacturer.
