Need a more capable media player

I am having trouble getting WMP to play a lot of my formats. I can get these media files to play on my modded xbox and on my Pocket PC phone, so can anyone recommend a good media player for XP that plays most everything? Thanks!

Try VLC media player:

Although if things arnt working in Windows media player you probably need some codecs I find these fix my problems:

DIV X:

yeah i use winamp over WMP its much better and smaller footprint

I've used VLC for a couple of years now, and have yet to find something it can't play.
