hey everyone havnt been on this site in years and had to make a new account, i guess thats a good thing and means my issues have been limited.
for the past month the data execution prevention has been popping up for anything that uses explorerfollowed by a system crash error. I used sysdm to access the program to change the allowances and it worked for maybe a week and the problem is still occuring with DEP turned off for explorer.
the crash error comes up as follows:
EventType : BEX P1 : explorer.exe P2 : 6.0.2900.5512 P3 : 48025c30
P4 : unknown P5 : 0.0.0.0 P6 : 00000000 P7 : 0009a810
P8 : c0000005 P9 : 00000008
thechnical information is as follows:
C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER1841.dir00\explorer.exe.mdmp
C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER1841.dir00\appcompat.txt
i allready tried deleting the temp file to see if that would help and no luck. also ran a registry cleaner to see if that would help.
anyone have a perm. answer/fix to this frustrating problem?
