You have to be more specific with the HOST ID question. In relation to what? A HOST ID can be a lot of things from internet related to a UNIX command.
nbstat is a tool used with tcp/ip on a windows network and netbios it will let you know what connections are active and usually some statistical info on the NBT protocol itself. If I recall..I'm pretty sure though cause I know that netstat does nearly the samething but with NBstat (NetBios) was its main concentrate.
