Yesterday I had a destructive virus on my computer that I used Malwarebytes to fix. The problem is, when It removed the infected files, I restarted and did another scan and another infected file was found called "Userinit." in "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon" (I think thats where it was..) Any way, so I told it to fix it, and so it did, and I scanned again and there were 0 files infected now. I restart, and now it won't logon. It loads personal settings and logs back out. I don't have my XP SP3 disc anymore sadly. Also, I installed it over the OEM installation. I just need that file repaired. I borrowed friend's SP3 disc and booted it up, but there's no setup screen or repair option. It just shows the partitions and asks which one to format or leave unchanged. I have UBCD and tried everything with that. If there's any more details you need let me know.

The XP SP3 CD is not a install CD for all of XP. It is just strictly for SP3.

Can you get into Safe Mode? If not then you will have to get a XP CD.
