Default need help installing OS

whenever I reboot a comp it says it is missing some data files and when I try to install my OS it says that my C drive is missing a FAT32 or FAT partion and it tells me to run fdisk. I run fdisk and then try to install but still nothing. Can anybody help me get my computer goin?

I messed up my computer pretty bad once and fdisk wouldnt work to fix it. I used a program called zap (i think). You just put it on a boot disk, run it, and it removes all partitions and deletes everything that may have been on the hard drive. I'll see if I can get you a link.

Burn it to a boot disk and run it from there. If you need any other help, let me know.

Hey thanks alot i will be sure to try this first thing when I get home from school tommorrow. When you say burn it to a boot disk that just means basically... burn it on a disc. Right? and it should automatically be detected and run when I put it in the computer and start it, correct?
