Need help data lost suddently

hi,
i using a 200GB external USB harddisk and i partition it into 3 drives - today suddently one of the drive is corroupted (maybe i because i accidently turn it off)

Now if i click that drive - a mssg pop out said : The disk structure is corrupted or unreable .

So how can I get back the data ? below is the softwares i got :

Powerquest Easy restore
Powerquest Lost & FOund
Power Recovery central
Powequest East recovery 6


this is the second time it happen .... pls help - i need my datas back

have you tried to run Chkdsk on the drive?

Open My Computer. Click on the drive. Dont open it. Then Right Click>properties>tools. Use the error checking tool and see what happens. You might have to reboot in order for it to do so but this should check the drive for errors and hopefully fix them for you if there are any.

Okay so chkdsk doesnt do anything. Have any of those applications come up with anything. I cant think of a sure fire solution off hand.
