Need help booting up windows vista please!

I just built a new computer, and vista seemed to be running fine yesterday, but now doesn't boot up in normal mode, only safe. It will goto the vista loading bar on the bottom of the screen, then will just go black, and the hdd light will stop blinking. Though, now when I got to start in normal mode, it scans my C:, and tells me it's clear, but still can't get into vista at all. If you need any info just say so.

How long did it work before this error started?
Did you change anything on the computer before this happen? Hardware/Software?
Check your device manager (while in safe mode) to ensure that there are no errors.
Run an error-check on the drive that has the OS.
While odd, still run spyware and virus scans to ensure you aren't infected.
Replace the video card to ensure this isn't a resolution conflict.
Replace the monitor to ensure this isn't a resolution conflict.
