need help to boot to xp

my system have 2 hard drive one with xp home and one with vista,and i always boot in to xp to do overclocking,crash,restart.... this morning i try to boot to vista,but computer still boot in xp,i reset bios ,still not work ,then i boot in to vista cd and fix the problem.it is ok with vista now but i can not boot back to xp.what thehell is it?any idea please.
 
thanks.but i have to reinstall fresh WINDOWNS XP ,and i have 2 question please:
1-why i do not see the list of windowns(xp and vista) when i restart the PC.I have to boot in to HARD DISK boot in to windowns
2-if i do change the BIOS setting so it happen again(windowns not bootin)
 
The reason you dont see both XP and Vista is because Vista is the primary bootloader of the 2. Since you are installing XP after Vista the XP bootloader can not be used to start Vista. So you have to add XP to the Vista bootloader in order to dual boot correctly. That is why you have to do what i said above.

You dont need to touch your BIOS with my suggestions. EasyBCD will act just like selection screen and allow for you to boot either XP or Vista the way you want.
