Need Access is Denied

Well Guyz..

I have WinXP with SP2..

all i need is that .. a Guest account, or an account with limited rights, logs into my computer.. then the user must get access is denied when he tried to open one of my local drive's partition.. say D drive..

i have seen it some where.. that person din set any rights or somethin, he installed win2000 and then XP it some how got it by chance..

but i really wanna do it..

is there any way outta that.. .

set his account to limited and then go to your account and hide password protect the drivers which all hides your folders from them.

There is a program... i'd have to find it... but it can block a single user from doing many things, all that are up to none other than u.

You can also use gpedit.msc if you are using xp pro


Click on the hard drive and check on make this folder private

it sounds like to me on what you said that there was already a gpo on it and it was carried over to XP using the upgrade option

Donn wanna use a software for that .. as they all are bugged..

i want something inbuilt.. the one mentioned above gpedit.msc..

but i guess that is for folders or for drives too..

i have been messing with that before posting.. and couldn't get into much..

this security is there in our college computers.. but to tell u the truth that bull shit engineer never tells a thing to me.. but he says it is inbuilt feature
