MySql Install

hi everyone,

well guyss a simple problem for you.. i m trying to install mysql query browser, well it got installed but the problem is i m unable to connect it to my local host, as said in the readme which came along with it, i did the save, but i m unable to connect it to localhost 127.0.0.1

donn know what specific do i need?

do i need mysql server too along with the browser.. please help me ..

i need to work this out till evening

Which language did you use along with MySQL: PHP, ASP, JSP, or CGI?

download xampp it comes with Apache, Mysql, PHP, Phpmyadmin (which is how you browse the database), and FTP i personally use xampp for home web server and always recommend it.


go here and select windows since im assuming you are using windows.

thanks a lot mate, i will try that too.. otherwise i tried installing mysql server, configured it, used it with mysql query browser and tada, it worked..
