my volume is gone on one of my old computers..i forgot what happened to it...when i put seakers on the volume still doesn't work..i think im missing some kind of driver..can u please help me? its windows 98..thanx
To even start to help with this problem, we need more info... like what type of sound card is it? If it's built in, what type of motherboard is it? You can probably find most of this information in the device manager.
it is built in..but i dont know the type..how can i find it..i went to the device manager and there audio drives and then i went to the codecs..there are too many names..i want some sound!!! thanx
Go under the Control Panel and it should have something for sound. Check in there to make sure you dont ahve any error and your volume control isnt turned all the way down.
