My old pc is messed up!!

ok well i reinstalled windows on my old pc. i start up windows update. im dling the first 16. i get to last, and pc jsut restarts. Then when i try to go back to win update, it goes directly to install them, then pc just restarts. now i jsut turn pc on, and it getse to wo9ndows, and shuts off immediately. Any idea on what this can be.

Try updating in save mode.

I would try the Last Known Good Configuration first.
