"My computer" icon..................

dissapeared when i was messing around with something so i found my computer icon else where and then dragged it onto my desktop and of course its turned into a shortcut so if i right click and go to properties it doesnt show my system details like it should, so my question is, how do i get the original my computer icon back on my desktop?

you didnt have 2 drag my computer onto desktop if your on the normal Windows XP Start Menu then click START then Right click on My Computer then Show On Desktop

did you change your start menu from classic start menu to start menu? That will take it away also
