it will only slow down your computer if you have Fast User Switching enabled and you only switch users which your previous user account will stay logged in and you can log into a different account thus having the previous and current account using up the same amount of resources TWICE.

You can either disable Fast User Switching or when you want to get off your account just make sure you log off and not sign off
 
No. But it will take up space on your hard drive which can slow down searching and stuff. Depends on how many you have on there and how much they save. My home computer has 4 accounts, but some computers at work have 30 or more. And yes filling the drive slows it down somewhat.
 
No it won't affect your system at all, except if you do not log off before loging in an another account. I actually have 1 account for me!
