Nope don't know if there is one without searching. haven't had time tonight; been setting up a computer for my fiance's parents.

Ah, well congrats on getting a girl, something most nerds will never achieve.

I'll scour google this weekend. Between my dad's 60th Bday, and babysitting my niece, I should have enough time.

Googled quick, and here's a couple things I found:

This one has a bunch of possible scripts (although it looks like most of them are for switching audio source devices, i.e. multiple sound cards): Changing default audio device - Support - AutoHotkey Community

It won't make a difference that I'm on 8.1, right?

Not sure; I'd assume not, but depends on if there was anything in the background they changed from 7 to 8.1 that dealt with how the audio interfaces work. I'd assume if it works on Win7, it should work on 8.1. Just have to give it a try I suppose lol.
