Default Multiple Installations of XP

hello, im going to be reinstalling windows on about 40 computers and i dont want to have to run around to every computer with a windows xp professional cd. there has to be a faster way. i took a look at network installation but thats not what im looking for either i was thinking more on the lines of a cd image that i could make multiple copies of and install. Any suggestions would be great thanks.

Making a CD Image wont do you any good as they will all have different hardware configurations which you will then have to run around and do a repair install on them.

Network install is your best option.

if the computers are kinda similar, a norton ghost image will work. it's more forgiving of hardware differences
