MSN Messenger Problem->Please Help Me

Hello, I recently uninstalled MSN Messenger. I decided to reinstall it a few days ago, but now everytime I open it, I get this message:

This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Uninstalling and reinstalling the application may fix the problem.

Well, I tried unistalling and reinstalling like a thousand times, but nothing worked! I closed all the spyware blockers I have, and tried unistalling and reinstalling it, yet it didn't work.

I'm using Windows XP, and I remember I had this problem a while ago on my other computer. Does anyone know what I should do? Has this happened to anybody else? Thanks. Please reply!

Stop the win xp firewall or a similar firewall on your pc should solve it. Also reload windows over the top. If there are any errors it should correct them.
