msconfig doesnt work!!!

Hi!
I have troubles with no more working msconfig, hmm..
When i try to start it, simply nothing happens.My computer is clean, i have at list 6 antispy,adware etc...And it is clean. So please dont post me answer related to security subjects. MAybe it is related with ms messenger which i had removed from compjuter. But i installed it back and it is the same. So i dont know what to do but im thinking that there is maybe register problem, or it is related with removed mesenger.

Do a search for the msconfig.exe file on your system.

I think it is in the C:\???\system32 folder.
I have 2000 Pro--mine is located in C:\winnt\system32

W2K didnt have it natively, I had to add the file.

It may have been removed from this folder, renamed
damaged, or missing all together.

Check and see if it's JUST the msconfig file..check the regedit and task manager as well...cause it's something totally different if those two are involved as well. Liz

I dont have any other problems except this f..ing msconfig.Task manager, regedit and all works fine. I dont know when it stoped work.
I have AdAware, Pestpatrol, SpyBoot, BPS spyware, Giant antispy, xsoftspy... and sure NAV 2005.
I think i have only missed other operating system, hmmm..
Should be somethig changed in registry..

I'd say just re download msconfig from one of the links in this forum. That should install a working copy and hopefully solve your problem without manually changing registry.

The msconfig utility is in there too. I know you dont have the other problems, did you even try it?
