MS virtual PC question

How can I access and use my CD rom drive while in my virtual OS? Even though I put a cd in my physcial ccd-rom and try to access it on my VM OS drive, my VM OS says there is no CD in the drive. I assume the same will happen when try to add my flash drive.

Any ideas?

Edit. I forgot I can access it through the emulator. Sorry.
