MS Project Server 2007 issue

When we are trying to install this patch(KB968850) on the Microsoft project server 2007 we are getting the fallowing error.
The detection failed ,This can be due to corrupted Installation database.
When we are trying to install any hotfixes we are getting the same error.
When we observed in the event viewer we are gettin the event id as
event id: 11708
source: msiinstaller
description: Microsoft Office Project Server Application Server -- Installation failed.
I have attached the error
Could anyone can help us regarding this issue

1. Save the corrupted file as an .xml file and close the file
2. Ask your Project Server administrator to delete the project from the
Project Server database
3. Open the .xml project file
4. Click File - Save As and save the file as an .mpp file
5. Import the .mpp file into the Project Server database using Tools - Enterprise Options - Import Project to Enterprise
6. Make use of software dedicated for corrupted .mpp files of all versions MS Project https://www.repairtoolbox.com/projectrepair.html Project Repair Toolbox
