MS office 2000

I have office 2000 Pro as well as office 2003 installed on my computer, which is running windows XP. I no longer need office 2000 and it has been annoying me for some time now because it loves to pop up and try to update everytime i use any program associated with office 2003.
Since i do not have the office 2000 pro disk i cannot do the update, nor remove the program. Im looking for a workaround to completely remove office 2000 from my system. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure why you need the disk to uninstall 2000 unless its missing some uninstall files...

ive tried several ways to remove this program and im pretty positive now that you do need the disk to do it

Do you have the 2003 disk? Maybe you could put it in instead. You must have deletes the install files when you installed 2000, it pops that up at the end to "save some disk space". Otherwise, boot in safe mode and delete everything office, then reinstall 2003.

Removing of Office 2000 is really a pain in the arse.
Anyway, I've heard about it, and you gotta look for office 2000 uninstaller or deleter. Can't remember which one.
