Ms Dos And Win Xp

Hi,
I've XP installed in my pc (C and I created a msdos floppy
disk (My Computer > Floppy Disk > Right Click > Format > MSDOS boot disk)
I want to boot from that floppy disk and use the DIR command
to view files at C:\
I type:
c:
dir C:\
and i get "invalide drive..."
What do I do wrong?

May I ask why you are wanting to access the files directly? You could use Windows XP Install CD to possibly do what you want?
