Question MP3 player and Vista

So I have this MP3 player and Vista just refuses to recognize it. It sees it but is unable to install drivers. It is a Memorex. Model number is MMP8585. Now, I don't exactly need it to run with WMP, I just want to be able to put music on it. Right now after the driver fails to be found, it won't even be recognized as USB mass storage in My Computer?

Any Solutions?

One thing to check is what kind of USB settings are you using in the MP3 player? Your's may be different, but in mine in the settings for USB, I had two different options. I could set it for MTC or MSC. When I had it set for MSC, it didn't work in Vista. But when I changed it to MTC, Vista recognized it correctly and it worked. Your's may not work the same way, but that is something you could check.
