Question MP 3 on Goldwing motorbike.....

I own a 1200 Honda Goldwing motorbike...this machine is equipped with FM/AM radio, cassette,intercom,.4 speaker stereo, 6 stacker fm modulated (Sony) and a 240w afermarket amplifier...could someone explain an MP3 to me (I am totally ignorant of this ,I only know one can store LOTS of tunes)...I would like to have an MP3 on the bike instead of the CD player..any suggestions to the best type to use........many thanks....Dave

DOn't know any specific models but go for a harddisk based mp3 player like the ipod or a cd based on - MP3CD players are the cheapest and can store about 200 songs.
