Hey all

I have in my XP computer

1 x 160gig (c boot disk, running Win XP

2 x 160gig RAID0 (stripping) array for storage.

THEN, I bought a 500gig drive, and used Norton Ghost v10 to move the data from the RAID0 to the new 500gig.

Now, the 300gig RAID0 is free, and I would like to make it my boot disc (to make use of the speed) and remove the current C: 160gig boot drive.

I used Norton Ghost to copy C: to the RAID0 array and also selected "copy MBR" (master boot record) ....went into bios and disabled c:, and moved the RAID0 array ahead of the 500gig in the boot order.

When I boot, it fails to detect an operating system, tries to boot of the DVD drive, then tells me to instert disc with an OS and hit enter.

What have I done wrong? Im certain I can boot from RAID0....and I was confident Ghost V10 is capable of duplicating the boot disk.

I noticed in Drive Management, the old c: 160gig is listed as a partition "basic" disk, and the RAID0 array is simple "dynamic" disk.

How can I make it boot from the RAID so I can ditch the old 160gig c drive ?
