right now i have windows xp prof. installed on an 80 gig drive along with some music, photos, games, etc. i would like to move the windows install to a smaller and seperate drive..how would i go about doing this?

i want to keep my files intact, and my settings too, if possible.

should i copy the entire current drive (maybe 15 gigs right now) to the smaller drive, then move the programs and storage and such back to the 80gig? if so, all my shortcuts would be messed up...is there a program that will help with this process?

is there an easier way?

also, if i bought a second 80 gig drive, is there any way to RAID 0 the drives even with data on it? and is there a way to redistribute the data to both drives?

thanks for any help.....

copying the 1 drive to the new drive

about the raid, you need to install raid first the add xp and your files, you cant do it backwards.
