Hi all,
moving My Documents folder from C: to another partition in XP is relatively easy, but Vista gives me headache since each folder in Library is independent one from the other and must be moved one by one.
I successfully moved Documents and Downloads without seeing duplicate in Library, but not with Music and Pictures. I followed the notification to move everything inside those folders to avoid seeing duplicate folders in Library, but nonetheless I kept on seeing double folders, one on new partition (with 'Location' tab on properties), the other still in C: (without 'Location' tab on properties) and it cannot be deleted since something is still accessing the files inside - though practically there are no files inside them.
I need to move the whole library to safety, away from system partition. Can someone please show me the way without making double folders in Library?
I'm using Vista 64-bit.
Thanks a lot!!
Peter
