Hi everybody.
I have problems while watching movies via my comp (see specs in my sig). The high quality movies or also just short video clips. Usualy, I've burned the movie as VCD, and then I can watch it with normal speed, and not frame by frame. But I have 700 Mb movie file in AVI format, but the film is too long to be burned as VCD, so, maby you can give me an advice, which format is most "friendly" for my poor CPU, so I can decode this file to such format' and watch it in peace.

Thanks.

Have you thought of lowering the compression on the video? I am far from an expert at this, but I would think that the less decoding your comp has to do, the faster the movie will play. It will dramatically increase the file size though, so things might get a little tight on you HD if you have to many movies like this.

I might also try low compression divx, if you have it. That ran reasonably well on my laptop (see sig, it like to clock itslef at 768Mhz to save power).
