I have a sound output plug on my aspire(by acer) motherboard(not a soundcard). Im running Wndows 98SE. How do i get windows to output sound to my speakers wich are hooked up to this plug?

This is a new install of SE.

so your speakers are already plugged into the sound port? if they are and you have no sound, ensure you have the drivers for the onboard sound installed.
if you are trying to run from the sound output to an amp which has speakers, try getting your hands on a y-shield adapter, which plugs into the output on the back of the pc, then into the rca-outs on the back of the amp.

its just an onboard audio output and two harman/kardon speakers. as of right now i dont even have a profile for it in the device manager. According to my device manager i have NO audio devices, that its picking up at least.
