Most Freeware?

WEird files keep popping up.

I did that for a while. I was a total packrat. Had everything installed even though I'd never use half of it.

The I realized that my regrestry was so damn large and it would take 2 min to boot to windows. That and all the disk space I was loosing.

Give it a few months, you'll get sick of it.
 
Doesn't your pc get heavy with all those downloads stored in there?? :D

My laptop does :( I think...

btw, I've been meaning to ask this, how do you make the Programs column spread out (like in WinXP) horizontally in Windows98 rather than vertically?? I hate scrolling down to view all the other programs at the bottom...
 
Sadly, that's not an option in Windows 98. I'm using XP, themed in classic style (because Luna is the most babyish and uglyish looking thing EVER).

And I have a 120 GB HD, I'll live. I don't pirate software, so I have a lot of room...
 
120 GB is plenty big enough, usually freeware and shareware are not very big - I try to avoid the shareware because of the restrictions and stuff they give you (and usually you have like a 30 day limit)
