Question Missing my Task Manager..... and BIOS update

I am running Windows XP Pro SP2
Intel Pentium 4 2.8Ghz, 512MB RAM
MB-embedded graphics & audio (Intel D845GVSR board)

Just discovered that Ctrl+Alt+Del brings up a window labeled "Local Area Connection" instead of the Task Manager. I have attached a screen shot of this app, in its the actual size. Can someone tell me what happened to my Task Manager?

The last major thing I did was flashing the BIOS on my Intel D845GVSR motherboard with the latest update this afternoon. Immediately following the update (upon restart), I received a number of Windows errors (those ones that ask you if you wanna send a report over to Microsoft), but I ignored them, and they have not returned since (I restarted several times). However, this is rather strange and I am wondering if something else got messed up as well. Is there a way to roll the BIOS back to its original version?

This is where I got the BIOS update:

If someone can help me I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

You have the Task Manager running but it's been Maximized. To restore it to normal you only have to double click on any of the black part of the window.
