Missing export kernel32.dll?

If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it. I get an error `missing export kernel32.dll` I am using win 98. I thank you in advance for any help.

are u sure that is all it says, is there some other file name also like setup.exe or something else
eg "Setup.exe File Is Linked To Missing Export Kernel32.dll"
also have u installed anything new?? software or hardware.

It says AOESETUP.EXE is linked to Missing export kernel32.dll when I try to install a game.

Just check if that game is compatible with 98? Thats a compatibility issue.

I think u r trying to install "Age of Empires" isnt it?. I dont think that runs on windows 98.

It has, I have installed it and un install it. I tried to reinstall it because I was getting these kernel32.dll errors

Actually I have downloaded the missing file from the internet, but now when I try to install AOE I get another error "A required .DLL file is missing, VERSIOO.DLL file was not found. I know that the game is compatible with 98 because I have installed and played on this machine before.
