mIRC cannot connect

ok everytime i try to connect to a server through IRC, i get an erorr like this

-*server*- [ Blocked by Zone Labs Security ]

i have tried tweaking every option in Zone alarm.
my zone alarm is : ZoneAlarm Security Suite version 5.5.062.011

does anyone know the option to allow irc to connect to servers, or is this zone alarm not compatible with mIRC?

even if you have tweaked zone alarm, it still looks like its zone alarm firewall.

yeah but i use to have another version of zone alarm and it never conflicted with IRC like this

When configgin your zonealarm, make sure you have it to allow the mIRC program (or whatever IRC program you use) and also make sure to let ports 6660-6669 have access to your computer.
