Minor problem.

I have a minor problem. On the task manager it says, it's downloading windows updates, however it says "Downloading updates: 0%", it's been like this for a couple of days, i cant click it, right click or anything. So how would i actually download the updates?

Okay, first disable the automatic update feature[it sux!]. Right click 'My Computer' ,select properties. There should be a 'tab' regarding the auto update feature. Check that and remove the auto update option.
Next, if you want to use windows update ,use it via the MS site. i.e, In internet explorer, click Tools->windows update . This should launch you the windows update site.
