HI,

After installing office xp on a works pc i opened a new document and began typing. the line that the cursour is currently on is shaded out black and the text cannot be viewed. the only way to see the text is to double click on another area of the screen. if i then choose to continue typing the line becomes black again. Also if i press return several times there will be as the same amount black lines appearing. So confused by this one. I have uninstalled office and reinstalled but it hasnt made a difference. thanks for any advise.

thnx but this has nothing to do with font colour or backgrounds. if anyone wants i can create a screen dump to illustrate.

found the problem. the vga drivers had a problem. reinstalled driver.
