How do you know that XP wont have drivers for your network adapter?

when i goto site they are part of the drivers i have to download for xp mate.

Point being? That doesn't mean that XP wont have them when it installs. That just means that they had a Driver Update from the time the machine was bought. XP could very well, and most likely will, have the drivers. Not onyl that but it could very well have NEWER drivers than the drivers listed on the Dell site.
