Default Microsoft Silverlight

Hey check out this new app by Microsoft. What do you guys think about this? Is this like a new version of the Flash software but Microsoft? Who want to give this a try? I'm skeptic about it still because most sites don't support this yet, or do they?

Silverlight has been out for a while and yes it is Microsoft version of flash. Except it is quicker and doesnt need as much buffering time.

I have used it since it was a beta. Some sites are getting there with the support. NetFlix I think is one of the sites that supports this.

So I can go ahead and download this just as I would with the flash player? Does this replace the standard flash player completely or does it work side by side with what we have now (flash player)? As long as I don't download the developer's version though .

It works side by side with flash. It is a stand alone just like flash is. IT works on many Microsoft sites and many other sites are starting to pick it up.
