Default Microsoft Outlook

I have a workstation that 2 employees use and am running into a problem. This workstation runs Windows XP PRO and Microsoft Office Professional XP. One user has no problem with email but the second user encounters the following. When you click on the Microsoft Outlook icon it opens and then closes. Upon trying to open again it asks if you want to repair the install and after that completes you are back to the same situation. Opens and closes immediately. I have uninstall antivirus software uninstalled Office and then reinstalled Office and get the same results. This system is on a network connected to MS Exchange.

Any help would be appreciated.

A couple questions for you...
have you upgraded the Echange server in the past few days?
do you have a default template configured for the client?
can the user use another computer to get in?

No I have not upgraded the Exchange server in the past few days and yes I can get to this users mail from another PC and yes there is a default template configured.

hijackthis log check, any spyware? delete it with hijackthis so it doesnt replicate itself.

spyware//virus scan

it really funny that you can d/l the mail to another pc but not the orig pc. Whats different with the machines?
