I think we are talking at cross purposes

Of course, dear friend, everyone has heard of both SP1 and SP2
for Windows XP. And, of course, I have installed SP2 for Windows XP pro.

But there is a difference with the update to the update of NET.Framework,

I doubt very much that most people know about this particular update, and, as I said, a Microsoft engineer, was unaware ot the update which has only been available for a few weeks.

You may be interested in a small utility that also can help

Run: CONTOL USERPASSWORD2 (with a space between CONTROL and USERPASSWORD2).

This is one about which I was unaware.
