Hi, So I deleted my Microsoft .net framework 4 and the microsoft c++ visual 2010 and 2012 (x86) from my computer because they weren't functioning right and planned on reinstalling them. When I try to re install framework 4 client profile I get an error that says "the specified service does not exist as an installed service" also I've noticed my windows update is all of a sudden turned off and won't turn back on. I've tried restarting etc and can't figure out why this is happening any help would be great!

Start-> type Services.msc > press Enter
make sure the following services are started:
Background Intelligent Transfer Services
Windows Installer
Windows Update
I'd also suggest running a system file check. Start -> type CMD -> right click -> Run as Admin -> type in the following command:
sfc /scannow
