Default Microsoft JVM

Ok, I've been looking around for this for a few months now and can't seem to find a thing.

Microsoft stopped supporting their JVM because of some legal issues.

I reformatted my system quite a while ago and put Win2k pro back on it. When I loaded up Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1, some pages that use java scripts (like image pre-loader scripts) dont display.

Can anyone link me to an actual download of the "new" JVM or whatever they chose to replace it?

I had switched to firefox, but i got cranky at their plugin support, or lack-there-of.

Its a frigging Laptop, not a Labtop!!!!
