Default Microsoft Internet Explorer

I know this is probably an easy fix, but how do you go about fixing it?
My girlfriend (without my consent) installed America online on my computer, which is running Windows 2000. I then un-installed AOL and completely removed any traces of it from my computer.
The problem is I cannot remove the text at the top of Internet Explorer "Microsoft Internet Explorer Provided by America Online"
I can't stand anything (America Online) so how do I go about removing it?
